What’s Baking (week of Jan 29th)

Lots of new things on the menu this week–both sweet and savory! We bake in small batches so please pre-order for us to hold for you if there is something particular that you want.

Cookies:

What’s Baking (week of Jan 15th)

Surprise, we are baking this week after all. We will be at the Somerville Winter Farmer’s Market, but not in our regular place. Instead we will be in the hallway outside of the main room–you can’t miss us , we’ll be the ones charging everyone 1 platinum coin to get by us like  trade route bandits. (We are gunless but can swing a mean piece of chocolate cake, so don’t try to sneak by without stopping.)

We are doing a light bake because the space is so much smaller, so if you really want something on the menu, please preorder.

What’s Baking (week of Dec 18th–Somerville and Charles Hotel)

We will be participating in the special Christmas market in front of the Charles Hotel on Sunday, Dec 23rd from 10-3). The menu for that day is more limited than the Saturday market in Somerville, with the focus on Christmas goodies and no bread except for brioche.  We have decorative tins, boxes and bags available, including stocking stuffer sizes(!) which we will bring to both Somerville and the Charles Hotel. If you know you want something particular, please email us and ask us to put it aside. As normal, we make limited quantities of each thing

New Market Schedule!

Harvard Sq market is over. We are taking a hiatus until December 15th when we will start at the Somerville indoor winter market.

In the meantime, Leesteffy is in France. Just uncorked a bottle of vanilla i began brewing a year ago. What a fabulous smell! The best vanilla ever. I also brewed a white rum vanilla as well. Both are now ready to use. I’ll be bringing back lots of yummy ingredients  from France. Stay tuned!
