I’ve been thinking about ice cream filled macarons for more than a year. But we aren’t ice cream makers. So this past weekend, we put samples of our french macarons in the freezer to see how they turned out.

OMG, they are delicious frozen.

The experience somehow is totally different from eating a fresh macaron. It is more akin to eating an ice cream sandwich, but an ice cream sandwich more scrumptious than you’ve ever tried before.  This week we will attempt to bring them frozen to the market for you to taste yourself. The clear winner in the kitchen taste test was the cheesecake, but they were all delish.
