Cider Donuts!

Donuts!! Cider donuts. I’ve never eaten cider donuts, so i can’t say they are good “cider donuts”, but as a donut, these are pretty good. Make them last night. Some have cider glaze and others sugar, cinnamon & a touch of cardamon.  Still fresh tasting this morning. That’s a positive sign. Everything i read said they get dry as soon as you make them. These puppies are moist. They taste like buttermilk donuts to me.  And they are very apple-y As a child, the only donuts i liked were buttermilk or apple fritters. Maybe i’ll try apple fritters next with fresh apple pieces. I think i’ll be able to freeze the dough so people could have fresh donuts for say, Christmas morning!
