Two local candy makers, Spindler Confections and Heinselman Confections have filled our shelves with holiday goodness. Need a present, stocking stuffer, after dinner chocolate, New Year’s treat?–we got you covered. We also have gift bags of Fazenda Coffee–roasted locally, and served at Violette! There is Deborah’s jams and gluten free vegan goodies from Zen Cookery–a micro enterprise right in our very own kitchen! Soluna Farms will be dropping off some of their speciality teas and herbs later this week.
Come light your life with Shine on Shades, beautiful handmade rice paper lamp shades, night lights and lantern swags (for your windows, ceiling or tree!). Made locally right here in Cambridge. I confess, i’m hankering after one of Liz’s lovely shades. Anyone want to be my secret Santa? 🙂
And then, of course, we are starting the elf production of christmas cookies, pies and cakes this week. Please be patient if we don’t have all your favorite flavors at once. AND, we are putting together our french macaron bar so you can mix and match macaron goodness–or madness, your choice!
We have decorative boxes and bags and will be putting together some towers of our own choosing, or you can make your own gift basket. On the non-local front we have our yummy pasta from england and an assortment of handmade foods from france. French aprons and Violette Bakers aprons, hoodies and long sleeve Ts. Printed locally if that counts! I bet we have something for everyone on your list. And if you can’t decide, we have big orange gift certificates for your favorite peeps.
So come on in. Browse. Have a cuppa tea. Hot chocolate (with homemade marshmallows by Heinselman). Fazenda coffee–latte (cow or no cow). Wifi is free. Lots of hot soups this week. And general cheer to beat the gloominess of the weather. I personally can’t wait until December 21st so i can celebrate each day becoming a little brighter.
