Surprise, we are baking this week after all. We will be at the Somerville Winter Farmer’s Market, but not in our regular place. Instead we will be in the hallway outside of the main room–you can’t miss us , we’ll be the ones charging everyone 1 platinum coin to get by us like  trade route bandits. (We are gunless but can swing a mean piece of chocolate cake, so don’t try to sneak by without stopping.)

We are doing a light bake because the space is so much smaller, so if you really want something on the menu, please preorder.

Cookies: 

  • Norwegian Lemon cookies (contain almonds)
  • Dark chocolate espresso brownies with homemade marshmallows
  • French macarons (Meyer lemon-rose buttercream, apricot cheesecake, chocolate with peppermint, goat’s cheese with black truffle)

Cupcakes: 

  • Chocolate cake with toasted coconut Italian buttercream
  • flourless chocolate with bittersweet glaze
Other:
  • pot pies (veg,  veg & chicken)
  • 9″ vegetable quiche (arugula, mushrooms and onions)
  • Gf/dairy free soups: cream of local root vegetable, French Farmhouse potato leek, butternut squash w fresh ginger (at least two of these and perhaps all three)
  • savory sm brioche with mushrooms and onions

  • cranberry orange tea bread

  • Sweet cheese brioche with various toppings: (including this week a yummy caramelized nut and our caramelized apricot)
