Just a reminder that we are OPEN. You don’t need to pre-order to buy from us. If you are just getting a few things like a cookie and brownie, no need to preorder. Everything on the menu is available at the window. (We often run out of bread, so people preorder that and specialty frosted cakes for birthdays etc.) (Regulars, please carry on as you have been. 🙂) If you want to PRE-PAY you need to pre-order at LEAST 48 hours in advance. Otherwise, we will ask you to come to the window to pay and pick up. We sanitize after every customer and there is plenty of room outside to social distance. Delivery requests MUST include a REQUEST and delivery address, please. We don’t automatically deliver to everyone. This will eliminate last minute confusion when you wonder where your order is and we wonder why you haven’t picked up. Also, we are no longer taking phone calls, but TEXT us if you are here for CURBSIDE pick up. We will all get through this!
Here is a small list of grocery items you can buy from us starting this week. The Dry Goods will be repacked from 50# bags into plain plastic bags with no labels. Honey comes only in 5# jug. Yeast comes only in 1LB bag but can be frozen or refrigerated to extend shelf life. Fruit is each. We will add products as we figure out how best to split them for grocery sale. Our suppliers give us a price list each week. If you are getting delivery, please note you can order these items but they don’t count toward minimums. We are not trying to do grocery delivery and we aren’t selling these at a regular profit margin –we are just doing our bit to help get more food to customers during the Pandemic.
Now on to this week’s menu! It is BAGEL week! Bagels are available Weds-Sat. The other bread is Challah, loaves or rolls. Bread can be preordered at least 24 hours in advance for Weds-Sat, or you can come to the store and try your luck.
Tea Bread is Banana-Strawberry with Pecans or chocolate chip (DF). Muffins are Strawberry-Rhubarb with pecans or with crumb.
Sat Special is Cinnamon rolls, plain or with candied pecans.
The mini angel food cupcakes with lemon curd and rose cream have been uber popular and we will continue with those for awhile. We will TRY to have Eclairs toward the end of the week, but we are trying to stick to individual number of work hours each week, so we have to play that by ear.
Reminder, we have challah every Tuesday and then our bread of the week Weds-Sat.
Note, we have three customer parking spaces marked behind building right next to alley with BIG orange signs. You can’t miss them.
