Christmas is ONLY TWO WEEKS AWAY!
Won’t you be sorry when you only have a lump of coal to serve for Christmas dinner, because you procrastinated? Stay jolly and get your orders in now. It’s a big help to us to know what people want. We hate to tell you we are sold out! It’s like Birthday cakes during Thanksgiving week. Even though I warn for six weeks before, we always get panicked parents who don’t think to order a cake for their child’s 30th birthday until the week of Thanksgiving! We actually do a betting pool every year for how many people will ask us in that 3 day period for a birthday cake for their kid. This year it was 13 and one of our bakers won the pool. Don’t be the subject of a betting pool. Lol. Get your orders in!
We will be open on SUNDAY, Dec 24th from 10-3 and on SUNDAY Dec 31st from 10-3. We will be closed Dec 25-27. Open 28-31. And then closed for at least TWO weeks while we move.
Bagels, Bagels, Bagels, Bagels.
Bagels are this week. Maybe the last time before February. Stock up. They freeze well. You will be happy you did.
Christmas and New Years Menus:
There are SO MANY good things on our menu. From our Bouche Noel, Swiss Roll, French Apple Cake, Cute Christmas cakes, Blueberry or Apple Buckles, 3 Pies, Ricotta Pie, Tiramisu, to our HUGE selection of Christmas cookies, including Pecan Sandies, PB Blossoms, Ginger bread men, Zimtstern Stars, Christmas Themed Sugar cookies, and the list goes on. Many of these things we roll out ONLY FOR THE HOLIDAY.
And talking about things available ONLY for the holiday, if you love our Family size Pot Pies, they are ONLY available on December 23 and 24th. They are a 9″ pie, chock full of organic veggies and pasture raised chicken, if you get the chicken variety. They come in Vegan, Veggie, and Chicken. The difference between the Vegan and Veggie, is the crust. No egg in the crust of the Vegan Pot Pies.
We also will be ending our Brie En Croute at New Years. This is a fantastic appetizer for Christmas Even, New Years Eve, or any time. They fly off the shelves. They come frozen, ready to bake at home. And are darn cute as well.
Saturday Special
We will have Pop Tarts THIS SATURDAY! Cinnamon Cream, Blueberry, and Tart Cherry. They freeze really well, so you can stock up and have them Christmas morning. Please get your orders in TODAY.
Do Gooder Items on our Menu
Thanks to everyone who ordered Do Gooder Donuts, Florentines and Cupcakes. With us contributing 100% of the proceeds from these items, we’ve raised $640 to send to the family for food, diapers, rent and dialysis. We will continue the Florentines and Cupcakes until the end of the month.
As a reminder, the Do Gooder cupcakes include being able to order vanilla/vanilla cupcakes in DF or Vegan, and visa versa, to be able to order Chocolate Cupcakes with Vanilla (dairy, DF or Vegan.) Or Chocolate/Chocolate. The Chocolate frosting will be luscious Chocolate Ganache, which is low sugar as well. (Only sugar is from the 70% organic dark chocolate.) These will be “made to order” cupcakes. So only for Preordering.
We are also still raising money for the Sponsorship. We are short a few thousand. You can make a tax deductible donation here. Write Al Smadi family in the notation box. Its a lot for me to do alone, and i would really appreciate the help of the community! Its a hard time for everyone, but especially for this family who has literally NOTHING, and two seriously ill family members. They’ve been on UNHCRs wait list for 12 years to get transferred to a country.
Lastly, i still have room for a one more 1 on 1 series to transform some of your favorite recipes to GF. Perfect Christmas gift for a beloved. The cost is $1K. And again, 100% of proceeds will go toward Sponsoring the Al-Smadi family to come to the USA.
Wedding
Lots of wedding orders are coming in for 2024. We only make ONE wedding cake a week. So if you know you want us to make your cake, please get your oder in. We are the only dedicated GF bakery in the Boston Metro region (that we know of) who makes wedding cakes. So we get booked up fast.

Deadlines:
Deliveries are Thursday – Sat. We can ask, but not promise, a Weds delivery if you tell us a week before.
