We are very short staffed on the counter again! This is necessitating that we cut our hours on Tuesday and Weds to 11-6. Hopefully, we can manage with that cut, if not, we will have to cut Thursday and Friday hours as well. And possibly even close Tuesdays. We are hoping not, but hiring is dismal at the moment.
Glad you all loved the donuts today. Lol, we thought we were seriously short for orders, so we made a second small batch (after this tired baker had already spent 7 hours straight making the first huge batch) and then it turns out we simply missed counting a few trays. So some lucky people got Sufganiyot and other donuts after noon, which is unusual. Sorry to disappoint those who came earlier when we were out of the Sufganiyot.
Our Christmas menu is up! The Yule Log is a customer favorite, and a google favorite apparently. This is a photo from last Christmas which has generated over 1 million views on Google. Go figure. They are yummy, and come in 4 flavors — 2 dairy full and 2 dairy free. Best to get your order for these in early as we do usually need to cut off preorders for them at some point when we get as many as we can make.
Bread this week is Challah (DF) (Loaves and Rolls) and Bagels (Vegan)
Tea Bread is Pumpkin, plain or with chocolate chips. This is the last month of Pumpkin items, so if you love them, stock up!
Saturday Special is Sweet or Savory Brioche. They come in Dairy full and Dairy free (DF)
