Posting the menu for the month made all of you planners-aheaders happy (go team), and confused a few of you. The confusing part seemed to be that one has to read the date things are available. 🤷♀️ We still have been having a few glitches in the ordering system, and as soon as you all tell me about a glitch, i’m on it. Every time they update a new option it seems to create small problems elsewhere–like saying preordering closes at midnight when it closes at noon. But as i said, i’m on it and most of the glitches get cleared up fast. If you have a problem ordering please email us: info@violettegf.com. Include your phone number, because often if i walk you thru the ordering process problems disappear.
This week is the beginning of Hanukkah. We will have Hanukkah sugar cookies, Apple Cake (bundt form, like the ones we made for Rosh Hashanah), and jelly donuts (Sufganiyot). You can preorder these items or come to the bakery to purchase without preordering.
We will also have DONUTS for our Sat Special next week. Banana Fritters (just like apple ones but with fresh bananas), Chocolate Glaze and Berry Glaze. We have vegan options available. Preorders require a minimum order of $25. There is no minimum at the window.
Tea Bread is Banana Nut or Banana Chocolate Chip. Muffins are Pumpkin plain, with Chocolate Chips, and Mixed Berry, plain or with nuts.
We are rolling out all the Christmas Cookie selections starting this week. We should have them all out by Wednesday.
Pie-wise. We will have Pumpkin, Chocolate Pecan and Mixed Berry Crumb (DF) starting this week. Large and small. (Pumpkin and Chocolate Pecan are under the Christmas menu.)
Bread (DF or Vegan) is Sourdough (vegan) and Challah (DF)(both loaf or rolls.) Both are available Weds-Sat. Challah is available, as usual, on Tuesday. We will have Crackers this week. Last time until Mid-January!
