Its Pumpkin season and we will have pumpkin tea bread with chocolate chips and pumpkin muffins this week. And pumpkin cake pops! Coming shortly is our pumpkin bundtletts. Aishe wrote me from Istanbul last week and asked if we were making these yet. They were her very favorite thing to make. We miss Aishe and Aishe misses our pumpkin bundtletts!
Rosh Hashanah starts on a Sunday this year, so if you want ROUND loaves (with or without raisins) you would have to pick up on Sat Sept 28th. We sell these ONLY BY PREORDER. Please get your order in early so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!
Pie this week is Blueberry-Blackberry (hint of lavender). One of the best i’ve made this season. We have it with crust and with crumb.
We have three kinds of cake pops in stock this coming week: coconut (vegan), pumpkin (DF) and chocolate-chocolate (DF). Perfect sized sweet for lunch boxes.
We have our Brie En Croute with tart cherries this week. And we made a DF version, while not brie is tasty as well. We have a few Lemon Ricotta Tarts left so if you love them, come get them.
Our Sat special this week is Sweet or Savory Brioche.
Jams are flying off the shelf. We won’t make Cherry-Rubarb Rose again until next summer, so if you love that one you should stock up. Emily will continue to make Jams all fall. All made with honey and/or maple syrup rather than cane sugar. Granola is well stocked back in with a new slightly sweeter oat version as well. Thanks, Emily!
Reminder, we have challah every Tuesday and then our bread of the week Weds-Sat. No preorders of challah on Tuesday, its first come, first serve. Please remember we cannot accept phone requests to hold bread, any day of the week. If you can’t make it in early, please Pre-order by 12:00 noon the day before.
