We have Apple Cake (Bundt form with loads of apples and spice) and ROUND Challah by PREORDER ONLY on Sept 18th and 19th. We will have bagels, but no Challah the next week you break the fast for Yom Kippur. So, if it is your tradition to have challah then too, please buy extra and freeze. It freezes well, as will the Apple Cake. The Apple cake is from a 2012 Washington Post recipe (which we’ve changed slightly as we converted it to GF ) and the recipe calls it a “Jewish Apple cake” because it has no dairy and can be eaten by those who are Kosher. Please note, we are not a Kosher bakery, but the Apple cake was made with that spirit in mind. And it’s delicious.
You guys went crazy over the pumpkin bundtlettes this week. We ran out completely by early morning today. Next week we will make bigger batches! These two are Rosh Hashanah friendly and have no dairy. They too freeze well. On the pumpkin front we will have Pumpkin Tea Bread, plain or with Chocolate Chips. The other fall favorite we will have is Chocolate Pecan Pie! In small and large pies. The week after we will have pumpkin pie. And the week after that we will have Pumpkin Cream Donuts. As well as cider donuts, which we trialed all week to get perfect. In fact, maybe you were lucky and got to buy some today. More on that later as it is still two weeks away. Just wanted to let you know the pumpkin madness coming your way!
Rosh Hashanah (Sept 18-19th) are due by noon on the 17th. We will be making Round Loaves by PRE ORDER ONLY. Either Raisin or Plain. And Apple Cake (DF). Loads of apples and spice in that cake.

The Saturday Special is Scones. Again, we will have three kinds: cranberry (fresh cranberries), Apple Spice and a Savory Chèvre and Sundried tomato. The two fruit ones are DF. There will be a DF version of the Savory Goat. We will use Violife Feta as that does mimic the texture of chèvre.
Pie (DF or Vegan) We have an assortment of pies this week. A few Shaker Lemon, with crust. Some Raspberry-Mango, Apple and Chocolate Pecan for the large pies. The small vegan pies is Blueberry and we will have small Chocolate Pecan, which contains eggs but is dairy free.
Bread (DF or Vegan) is English Muffins (vegan) and and Challah (both loaf or rolls.) Just to be clear, we will have square loaves and rolls, and then by PRE ORDER ONLY Round Plain or Raisin. Challah Bread is available this week Tues -Sat. Weds-Sat we will have English Muffins (vegan).
Tea Bread (DF) is Pumpkin, plain or with Chocolate Chips. We will have Blackberry Lime muffins with crumb or with walnuts. Peanut Butter with Chocolate Chip, and Raspberry muffins with chocolate chips or walnuts this week.
