With this crazy weather, it is hard to determine if we are still in summer or moving into fall. Flavor-wise, we are definitely in Fall mode. We will be phasing out the Lemon Ricotta Tarts and the Pesto Pizza in the next couple weeks and replacing them with Brie En Croute and a Butternut Squash Pizza. Stock up if you love the Tarts and the Pesto pizza.
We put bagels on the menu, even though they aren’t available until the week after, because everyone asks when we will have bagels again.
I really need your patience this week. We are EXTREMELY SHORT STAFFED. I have 3 staff out for various days/reasons this week–including both bakers. Two new staff have quit — for different reasons, but customer snark is a big problem with staff nowadays. I’m training 2 new people who are fitting in hours here and there while they give notice on other jobs, and literally some days it’s me and 1-2 staff this week (total, kitchen and counter). So please be extra sympathetic. Thank you in advance. If i can’t pull this rabbit out of a hat re staffing, we will have to shorten our hours/days of operation. And as i’ve said before, staff has Zero tolerance for snark from customers– which has continued every single week, particularly on Sat mornings, when people insist on picking up orders before 10 am. You snark, they quit. It’s that simple. This is why millions have exited the service field in the past few months. Re pick up on Saturday, orders are not ready until 10 am, period. I won’t even discuss it with anyone any more. Pick up 9-18 on your text message means Sept 18th. Please read the rest of the message for pick up times. We don’t quote military time. Also, please note, we are still having big supply issues. So if we are out of something you ordered, please don’t take it personally. It’s not about you.
