Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone! ❤️ Hope you all are enjoying your Valentine’s treat. As always, we appreciate your enthusiastic support! Don’t forget, we are closed this Tuesday for an extra R & R day for our team.
We are rolling out a new pizza flavor, so if you love the butternut squash, time to stock up! The new pizza will be mushroom and spinach with smoked gouda and Mozzarella (VEGAN Version will have our house-made smoked cheese.)
This week we will be trialing Hanamstashen again (I was told they should be cake-like rather than crispy, although many of the recipes i looked at said to aim for crispy.) 🤷♀️ So we will try again this week. I thought they were good, but maybe not Hanamstashen good. We will also try to trial Chocolate Beignets and Chocolate Croissants, although we are short staffed and you seriously depleted our stock of savories. So here’s hoping we (okay, it’s me that always does the trials) have time for these new trials.
The Bread this week is Bagel’s (vegan) and Ancient Grain (DF).
Tea Bread (DF) is Mixed Berry, plain or with nuts. Muffins (DF) are Pumpkin, plain or with chocolate chips.
Soup is Butternut Squash or Cream of Spinach. Both are vegan. We’ve packed a lot of spinach into our soup, and i confess, it will make you feel super healthy eating it. It’s my go-to soup at home for healthy eating. If you have a favorite soup you want us to make, email us at info@violettegf.com with your suggestions. Soup’s On until about May.
The Sat special is Cinnamon Buns, plain or with maple-pecans (DF)
