We are open Monday-Thursday this week, 10-7, except that on Thurs (New Year’s Eve) we close at 5. Deliveries will be 12/31 only. We are closed 1/1/21-1/11/21, reopening 1/12 Tuesday.
2020 is almost over, and while all of us are thrilled at that thought, I do pause a bit in my enthusiasm because I remember distinctly feeling glad 2019 was over, while thinking it couldn’t get worse. But it did. I am cautiously optimistic that 2021 will be better, but not putting any eggs in that emotional basket. I’m taking a wait and see approach, even while I will toast to Here’s Hoping! I dare not say it couldn’t get worse for fear of jinxing the new year. Yes, I am superstitious!
You guys were cookie monsters–we literally could barely keep up. We will have a few cookies left to bake off–pecan sandies, zimtstern and gingerbread. Not enough to put on the menu, so if you want these, just choose any type of cookie and write your choice in the special instruction box. The Buche and Swiss rolls sold out early as did the pot pies, so we decided to offer smaller versions of both for New Year’s. The Swiss roll will comfortably feed 4+ for a celebration toast, but isn’t too much for 2 people. Pot pies are our normal small and medium only.
We will have DONUTS on New Year’s Eve. Apple fritters, Chocolate Glazed and Cinnamon-Sugar. Last donuts until Feb! All are DF, and we have vegan options.
If you love our ICE CREAM SANDWICHES come stock up! We won’t have them again until around May! We are using that storage space for soup we will make in the New Year.
The Tea Bread this week is Apple Spice, plain or with nuts.Muffins are Pumpkin (plain or Chocolate Chip), or Cherry, with chocolate or plain. .
Bread is Sourdough or Challah.
