I know this New Year seems different for most of us, particularly those of us who are chronically hopeful about the future. We don’t know what 2022 will bring — will it be like a continuous Ground Hogs Day of 2020? Or will we finally get to move on? No one knows. I fight the pandemic blues by continuing my planning — and yes, i am a Type A planner. But for instance, I find that planning ahead gets me great deals on foreign travel. And planning that foreign travel keeps me happy during the winter months, even if i don’t get to go on my planned trips when planned. Being in the moment of planning and anticipation, brings joy in itself. Try it, you might like it. And we especially LOVE customers who plan ahead at the bakery, particularly during holiday times. Lol.
Due to being short staffed we are cutting our hours for the winter season from 11-6, Tuesday-Friday. 9-5 on Sat. This enables us to have only one shift for the counter a day. If you encounter lines, please be patient, and remember that we, like most businesses are very short staffed, and doing the best we can. We are doing our best not to cut our hours further.
Pick up of preorders starts at 11 every day except Tuesday, which is still at 3. And Saturday which is at 10.
We are trying something new, which is to post the whole month’s menu. So please pay attention to dates on Bread, Tea Bread, Sat Specials, etc.

The week of the 11th Bread is English Muffins (Vegan) and Oat bread (DF), loaves and rolls
Tea Bread is Apple Spice Crumb, plain or with nuts.
Pot Pies will be generally available in Small and Medium sizes. The medium we consider to be “man size” or a two person meal, if light eaters and having salad etc. Pot pies come in Chicken (always organic free range), Veg, and Vegan. The difference between the Veg and the Vegan is the crust. Vegan crust has no egg and is made with flax seed instead. Our pot pies are otherwise, dairy free.
