• Each meal serves 2 people (or 2 meals)

💪 Chemo Is Kicking Butt

Leesteffy received great news from her oncologist on Friday—her circulating cancer cell count dropped from 10.21 to 0.1. That’s not zero yet, but it’s very close.

The downside: chemo has caused severe anemia. If you see her in the bakery moving a little slower or not at her usual high energy, now you know why. As always, your patience and kindness mean the world to us.

🥯 Bagels Are Now a Weekly Treat!

Instead of one Bagel Week per month, bagels will now be available every Friday by preorder, with limited quantities available in-store.

We’ll still feature a dedicated Bagel Week each month—just like Donut Thursdays.
If demand continues to grow, we may expand to more days.

🧁 A More Focused Menu

We’ve temporarily removed several products from the menu. Decisions were based on production difficulty and rising costs. Once we’re fully staffed and the economy settles down, we’ll happily revisit bringing some favorites back.

📍 Pop-Up Location Search

We’ve received several great suggestions and will be following up—keep them coming!

We’re actively searching for a permanent pop-up partner location where we would bring our own pastry case and staff it, starting with Fridays & Saturdays.

Given that Leesteffy is currently moving slower than a turtle 🐢 and Jala is wearing multiple hats, in-person scouting will begin once things calm down.

What we’re looking for:
An existing business (market, deli, bakery, or similar) that could benefit from our customer base and where we can share space and rent.

Top location priorities:
• Boston (Back Bay, North Station, South Station, Southie, South Boston)
• Also open to: Newton, North Shore, South Shore, MetroWest
