We will reopen on Wednesday this week. I spent my staycation doing NOTHING, and throughly enjoyed it. Not sure the last time I did NOTHING, but wow, it was terrific. Hope you all had a relaxing early July as well.
I was supposed to work on implementing a new ORDERING APP (to make everyone’s life easier) during my staycation, but since I did NOTHING, it didn’t get done. But stay tuned as I am working on it and we should be rolling out a new and easier ordering system in the near future.
Pie (DF or Vegan) this week is Blueberry with a hint of orange. Our small pies (vegan) are blueberry and peach crumb. Next week pie will be (hopefully if i can get the ingredients) Key Lime, or Mixed Berry. If you have a favorite pie you think we should have on our menu, let us know!
The Saturday Special (DF available) is Sweet or Savory Brioche. For those of you who haven’t tried them, they are a customer favorite. They freeze really well and you can take them out of the freezer and pop in microwave for 35 seconds or so, and its like it just came out of the oven. Perfect breakfast treat. The sweet have a sweet (honey) mascarpone cheese and low sugar jam filling (or our DF cheese) and the Savory have chèvre cheese and mushrooms with herbs de provence (or our DF cheese.) They are similar to a Danish except not flaky. If you like our challah you will love these.
Bread (DF or Vegan) is sourdough (plain or with rosemary) or Teff. Both come in loaf or roll form. Bread is available this week Thursday-Sat. Weds we will have challah bread, like we normally do on Tuesdays.
Pastry will include our cream puffs, mixed berry shortcake (to switch it up a bit)
and our lemon curd tarts.
Tea Bread (DF) is Peach Crumb plain or with walnuts. Muffins are Corn with Blueberries or Plain
