We’re looking for one or two friendly, reliable people to join our team through the end of the farmers market season.

If you’ve ever thought it would be fun to work at Violette, this is a great opportunity!

You can work one shift or up to two shifts per week—whatever fits your schedule. Mix and match from the shifts below.

Farmers Market Shifts

These are wonderful shifts if you enjoy talking with customers and being outdoors. The market shifts are generally easier than working in the bakery.

Roslindale Farmers Market

Every other Saturday (through November 14)
8:00 a.m. – approximately 2:15 p.m.

Meet us at the Roslindale Farmers Market, help set up the stand, run the market from 9:00–1:30, then help pack up and load everything into our car.

Copley Farmers Market

Every Friday (through November 20)
2:00 p.m. – approximately 7:00 p.m.

Meet us at the Copley Farmers Market at 2:00 to relieve the morning staff. You’ll work the stand during the generally non-rush afternoon hours, then help pack up and load everything into our car at the end of the market.

Bakery Shifts (Harder than Market Shifts)

Alternatively, we’re looking for someone to work in the bakery, and the bakery staff will do the farmers markets.

Friday: 1:00–7:00 p.m.
This is a front-of-house, customer service shift. It can be busy, and at the same time you’ll need to fully stock the display cases, including baking off cookies and getting the bakery ready for a busy Saturday.

Saturday: 1:00–6:30 p.m.
Again, this is a front-of-house customer service shift. At the end of the day, you’ll be responsible for completely closing down the bakery for the weekend.

Bread Is Beautiful Again! 🥖

Leesteffy has been back on the bread bench while training our new staff, and the results have been wonderful. Our bread is once again beautifully fermented, full of flavor, and absolutely gorgeous.
