Heads up regarding our schedule. We will be open normal days/hours the next two weeks. Then week of June 30, we are open June 30, July 1 and 2 (Tuesday-Thursday.) Then we are closed for TWO WEEKS, reopening July 15th, for a much needed R&R, even if it is a stay-cation. 😢 So Stock up! We will have a special July 4th Menu the week of June 30th which will include, donuts, pie, corn bread, hot dog buns, hamburger buns, and more, in addition to our normal offerings, in case you too, are having a July 4th picnic stay-cation.
Its BAGEL week! Always best to preorder bagels. Bread this week is also Challah. Since we will shortly be closed for 2 weeks, here is our bread schedule so you can plan. The week of June 23rd bread will be English Muffins and Challah. The Short week of June 30th, bread will be Sourdough and Hot Dog and Hamburger buns. And then we are closed until July 15th. Bread is Available Weds-Sat. Bread can be preordered at least 24 hours in advance for Weds-Sat, or you can come to the store and try your luck. We have Challah every Tuesday for walk in or pre-order, except Not June 30th.
We are rolling out CREPES this week as our Saturday Special. We will have SWEET crepes, Mixed Berry (same as our pie filling) with whipped cream (dairy or DF). And SAVORY crepes that are Spinach, Mushroom and Brie cheese (staff favorite) (DF cheese available.) You can get them to order at the window, or PRE-Order them. If preordered you will get the SAVORY ones ready made and the Sweet ones will come ready to assemble in a 4 pack kit that includes Crepes and two cartons that contain filling and whipped cream. The Savory crepes can be popped in the microwave for 1 minute (a trick I was taught by a French creperie) or wrapped in foil and heated in oven or over an open fire if you are camping. Because of the whipped cream, the sweet ones need to be assembled. If you want to preorder and pick up ready made Sweet, please plan on coming before noon, and tell us this when you order.
NEW ITEMS include a Pear-chocolate Torte cake (old customer favorite that we haven’t had in awhile) and a Paleo-Keto friendly chocolate-almond cookie. It contains no sugar/sweetener except that in the 70% organic dark chocolate.
The Pie flavor this week is Peach Crumb or Peaches and Cream (three layers–thin layer of pastry cream, cooked peaches and whipped cream (DF available upon request.) Think marriage of cream puff with peach pie.
We will also have the small FRESH FRUIT TARTS made with our house made lemon curd, available Thursday-Sat. So delicious! Best to preorder as they sell out.
Tea bread (DF) is Banana Coconut with Chocolate Chips or Walnuts. Muffins are Blueberry-Lemon, plain or with walnuts OR Raspberry-Coconut-Lime with or without walnuts.
Pot pie stock is getting ever lower. See Order Now for sizes we have left. This is the last hurrah for pot pies until Christmas, so stock up.
New Pizza is out! Arugula-Basil Pesto with balsamic poached pears, caramelized onions, Mozzarella and goat cheese (Vegan cheese version available. )
We will update our grocery list AFTER we get delivery.Too often items are missing. But for sure we’ve been getting Olivia greens every week. We are still waiting for our organic Honey Crisp apples! Please remember, our suppliers don’t always bring our complete order, so have patience if we are out of stock.
