General News
Aw, you all really showed up for Mom last week. So heartwarming — and genuinely helpful to our business. We’re sure your mom thanks you, and we thank you too. 💛
One of our bakers/cake decorators, Diana, will be heading out on maternity leave in a few weeks. We give our decorators a lot of creative freedom, which keeps things interesting for both the decorators and our customers. Her replacement, Tatiana, joins us from the Mandarin Oriental and is an exceptionally skilled decorator, so stay tuned for some beautiful new cake and pastry vibes. She started yesterday.
Leesteffy is heading to France and will, of course, be bringing back honey and other French treats for the bakery. We can’t wait to see what she returns with.

We are still looking for ONE part-time employee for Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The position includes a mix of front-of-house work and farmers market prep (frosting cupcakes, baking cookies, packing market orders, etc.), plus one day at the Roslindale Farmers Market.
The position requires availability for all three days and access to a car for market transportation. Mileage/use of the car will be compensated separately.
If interested, email your resume to info@violettegf.com and tell us why you think you’d be a good fit.
