MOTHER’S DAY
You’ve been waiting… you didn’t forget Mother, right?
Mother’s Day was created to honor a mother’s “matchless service to humanity.”
And truly—what would we be without her? Likely just floating atoms in space.
Orders are now open.
A thoughtful way to say thank you, to celebrate, to make her feel seen.
Fresh flowers will be returning to the kitchen very soon. For now, a few spring blooms are beginning to make their way in.
For Now
Our May menu is live.
This month, we found ourselves drawn to something simple: stability.
Familiar things. Steady offerings. The kind you return to without much thought—and always feel good about.
It feels like something we could all use right now.
Stay calm, eat cake.
We’re also hiring—two part-time positions (approx. 20 hours/week).
Weekday shifts, plus one farmer’s market day (Friday or Saturday). If it feels like a fit, we’d love to hear from you.
Pot Pies
On their way out.
Jala prepared one final batch this week—what remains in the case is the last of the season.
They keep beautifully, should you wish to set a few aside.
Saturday — Cinnamon Rolls (for you & mom)
Leaning into the classics this week.
Plain
Cream cheese
Simple, familiar, and just right for sharing.
Bread
Challah — rolls and loaves (dairy-free)
Gluten-free sourdough — loaves and rolls
Made with our 17-year starter • vegan
Everything freezes well, if you like to keep a little on hand.
Bagels
Now offered every Friday by preorder, with a limited number available in shop.
We’ll continue our monthly bagel week, with the possibility of adding more days as the season unfolds.
Markets

We’re looking forward to returning.

If you need a specific time, we’re always happy to arrange it in advance.
Until Then
However you’re celebrating, we hope it includes something sweet.
We’ll be here. 💛
