November menu up
All the new flavors for the month of cakes and cupcakes are up on the website. Ditto bread, and Sat Specials. We won’t have donuts in November due to Thanksgiving, but we will have them December 3rd: Boston Cream, Glazed, Cinnamon Sugar, and due to popularity of the blueberry, we will have Fresh Blackberry dotted brioche donut with Blackberry (hint of Lavender) glaze. As usual, vegan needs to be preordered.
We will start rolling out one of my favorite holiday cookies — Zimtstern in the next week! In pumpkin and turkey shapes for the month of Nov. These chewy almond cookies are a delight. They are also on the Thanksgiving Menu.

Class registration has been up for a week, and the class is just shy of 2/3 full. If you are seriously interested, please sign up soon.
On that score, we have only 1 chalet and 2 gites (1 bedroom and 3 bedroom) available to accommodate families or larger groups of people wanting to be housed together. If this is you, please get your registration in asap. If you want the chalet, for a family or group, you must order Les Balcones upstairs and downstairs. For the three bedroom gite, you must get all three bedrooms in Le Jardin, otherwise, those rooms are for single’s only.
People keep asking about the village housing. The houses are either second homes, or independent rooms. There are no rooms where you are sharing with people who live there. But since they are not normally rented out, they will be filled with personal items. The room on the left is in a house i’ve rented in toto, that has three bedrooms. It is a large house. So you’d be sharing with two other class participants. All the village rooms are super convenient to where we are holding class and eating. These rooms are for singles or couples, and only for people who are actually taking the class. (For instance, if you are a group of 3 and only 1 of you are taking the class, this isn’t appropriate accommodation for you.) If you want to make bread with us every morning, the village housing is a good option for you, as otherwise, you will have to walk 2 km early each morning, as the van won’t be running that early. We still have Dahlias. From the weather forecast, probably for another week or two! We’ve continued candying flowers like crazy to stock pile for when gardening season is over.
Deadlines:
Deliveries are Thursday and Friday late afternoon only and Sat. Please do not request an early delivery on Thursday or Friday. We can ask, but typically, the delivery people can not accommodate an earlier time.
