We will be closed on Election Day. Even though we live in a state where the election is mostly a forgone conclusion, it is still important to vote. And even more important is to spend some time over the next three days volunteering to make calls and texts to places in the country where voting really has an impact. Because how Texas, Georgia, Florida, Arizona, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and so on votes, affects all of us. (Don’t you hate that our collective fate is in the hands of others? It makes me realize why so many people gravitate toward authoritarians!) Making those calls will keep your fears at bay!
Our Thanksgiving Menu is posted! Please do not order from the Thanksgiving Menu except for pick up dates between 11/20-11/25. We got a lot of orders this week for Thanksgiving items not now available.
The next Donut Day will be Nov 14th, which means that we will post the menu next Sat, Nov 7th in the evening. We’ve been hitting pre-order capacity pretty quickly (a matter of hours) so keep that in mind for next Sat. The flavors will be Maple Pecan Creme, Cinnamon-Sugar and Pumpkin Glaze. The Maple Pecan creme we will have a dairy and a DF version. (Staff has been swooning over this flavor.) For the vegan version, it will be maple glaze dipped in maple pecans. Our order system has a $25 minimum and it won’t let you order now if you don’t reach it. BUT, we always hold back donuts for walk ups and there is no minimum at the window. The donuts do sell out quickly at the window as well.
Sat Special this week is Cinnamon rolls, plain or with Maple Pecans (its maple pecan season, what can i say. 🤷♀️
Pie (DF or Vegan) Small pies are Blueberry (vegan) and Chocolate Pecan (DF). Large Pies are Blueberry and Chocolate Pecan.
Bread (DF or Vegan) is Sourdough (vegan) and Challah (DF)(both loaf or rolls.) Bread is available this week Weds-Sat.
Tea Bread (DF) is Raspberry with Walnuts or Chocolate Chips. We will have Pumpkin Muffins, plain or with candied ginger, and Cranberry-Orange Muffins, plain or with pecans. Not all flavors will be available each day.
