Exciting news. We are almost ready to launch our new menu/order app! The developer is still working on a few features we need, but says they will be finished this week. In the meantime, for those of you who want to give it a try this week, here is the link. I am sure you will help us find all the glitches that need to be fixed. lol. So have at it, but at the same time, remember it’s not perfect yet. Once we get past this testing stage (and developer finishes other features) we will replace this for both the Menu and Order Now on our website. It will print out the orders for us and you won’t have to wait for invoice to prepay, although you will still need to indicate curbside and delivery. There is now a delivery option to choose (scroll to far right on the header). Everyone will prepay online. This will eliminate the confirmation going to spam problem that some people have experienced. It will give me more time to experiment with new items (chocolate croissants are on my bucket list) and help with the cake decorating, given the number of cake orders we get each week. All in all it should be good for everyone. We do reserve the right to cancel and refund at our discretion.
Other news: we are going to try to do a Donut Week, instead of a Donut Day. We made/sold over 500 donuts on Saturday and that’s a lot for us (more than we consider our maximum!!), given they are all hand made, and super finicky. Staff thinks if we do Donut Week (Thursday-Sat) it will relieve some of the pressure on Saturday. I am reluctantly trialing this for the week of 10/22-24 to see how it works. The problem is that it is “all hands on deck” for donut making and we can’t get anything else done during that time because the operation requires the entire kitchen. We are wondering if we shift some donut lovers to Thursday and Friday, whether each day will be more manageable. One day we will expand and have a proper space for making donuts only, and then GF donuts can be an every day treat. Btw, the next line up is: Cider Donuts, Apple fritters, Blueberry glazed. Vegan options are Cider, Apple fritters and Cranberry glazed.

Pie (DF or Vegan) Pie this week is Pumpkin (DF) Or Mixed Berry Crumb (VEGAN). The small pies are Mixed Berry (vegan), Apple Crumb (vegan) and Pumpkin (DF), with the small Mixed Berry being vegan. We’ve been rolling out all the pie flavors we will have for Thanksgiving, so you can taste and decide which you want to buy!
Bread (DF or Vegan) is English Muffins (Vegan) and Challah (DF)(both loaf or rolls.) Bread is available this week Weds-Sat. Tuesday we will have Challah, as usual.
Tea Bread (DF) is Mixed Berry, Plain or with Walnuts. We will have Pumpkin Muffins, plain or with chocolate chips, Banana Muffins , plain or with chocolate chips and Cranberry-Orange Muffins, plain or with pecans.
If you love our Pesto pizza, stock up! We are at the last of this pizza option. Our Fall flavor is: Bechemel (white sauce) with roasted Butternut Squash, Caramelized Onions, Cranberries (dried) and Goat Cheese and Mozzarella, or our house made DF cheese. We always have Margarita pizzas, as usual.
