I’m in Europe’s Truffle capital (Istria), and i’m obsessed with these rare treats. I’ve eaten them plain, in risotto, fish, potato chips, chocolate, tapenade, eggs, olive oil, grappa, honey, balsamic vinegar, and i’ve probably forgotten other combos. Lol White is rarest, but I think I like the black best. In keeping with my obsession, we will have truffle Scones next Sat with caramelized onions. Can’t wait! –even though I love this place so much, it is hard to leave. We are back to our regular schedule this coming week.
We had some issues getting bulk fruit last week, so i can’t post any new pie or tea bread flavors until i see what is available. So stay tuned for an update on those items. For now, i’ve left them the same.
