Easter and Passover are this coming week! Please get your orders in. Remember, everyone is still having supply problems, and we order our ingredients based on preorders.
We will be cutting off cake orders early this week. Do not wait until the last minute to order for birthdays or other celebrations, or for Easter. Because we will not be able to accommodate last minute cake orders. We have a lot of cake orders already.
We have our house made Vegan Chocolate Truffles (by popular request!) and won’t likely have them again until Christmas. They sold out via preorder at Valentine’s Day and there were none left for the store. So best to preorder. They are super yummy.
Pot pies are coming to an END. Stock up. We make them Christmas to Easter.
We have a new seasonal pizza. Mushrooms, Spinach, Caramelized Onions with Smoked Gouda and Mozz with a white sauce. The vegan version has our house made smoked Mozz. A Spring Favorite.
Donut Day is 2 weeks away and the Zeppoles preorders are selling quickly. If you want this donut and don’t want to come at 9am, please preorder. We won’t have them again until the real St Joseph’s day next March 2023 (the imported Italian wild cherries are expensive!) Donuts were sold out by 10:30am last time.
The Easter Menu includes customer favorites. Our fun Easter Cake that has 3 kinds of chocolate bunnies, chicks and eggs on top. (Dark, Milk, White.) French Apple cake, which we only have during holidays because it is hard to make. But this is a very long lasting cake and freezes well, in case you love it. We will have a peach cobbler with a biscuit like topping. And also the same Truffles we had for Valentines Day. We will have 4 yummy kinds of of Brioche including a caramelized nut, Chocolate marcapone, and 2 versions with our house made jam and sweet cheese. This is just a sampling of our Easter treats. Bread is Sourdough (vegan) and Challah (DF), loaves and rolls
Tea Bread (DF) is Cherry with White Chocolate or Crumb (DF). The Belgian white chocolate contains milk, but it was fantastic in the raspberry scones today and i think will be equally fantastic in the tea bread.
Pot Pies are generally available in Small and Medium sizes. The medium we consider to be “man size” or a two person meal, if light eaters and having salad etc. Pot pies come in Chicken (always organic free range), Veg, and Vegan. The difference between the Veg and the Vegan is the crust. Vegan crust has no egg and is made with flax seed instead. Our pot pies are otherwise, dairy free.
