Its Bagel Week, and Pop Tart Saturday!

Its Bagel Week and Pop Tart Saturday. We haven’t had Pot Tarts in awhile so stock up! The Tart Cherry and Blueberry-Lavender are made with our no sugar added fruit compote, and the Chocolate Hazelnut only has the sugar in our 70% organic chocolate. So these are super yummy, and healthy Pop Tarts. No guilt here!

As usual, its best to preorder bagels. They are vegan, and slow rise sourdough. NYC style bagels. They freeze well.

We are still in full swing cake season, so if you need a special occasion frosted cake, please get your orders in early in the week. Some weeks, we have to cut off cake orders. And our store cakes fly off the shelf.
We have new staff starting this week and the week after (Thank God!) Evelyn is a familiar face from last summer and Christmas. We also have an Irish student joining us for the summer, on the European student visa program.  Emma is (i think) a third year college student in Dublin and very outgoing, but knows no one in Boston. She will be staying with me because she couldn’t find any housing.  I’m supposed to make sure she also has fun and sees the sights, and since i’m zero fun at the moment (chemo does that to you), i would love if any of you could befriend her.  Particularly for July 4th festivities. I have friends from all over the world, that i’ve met in odd places and befriended or been befriended by. Its one of my life’s pleasures, and i’m sure you’d find it to be too. So don’t be shy, stop by, say hello and invite her out. She is celiac, so you’ll have the same eating habits. She arrives June 1. Thank you!

At the window, the only things one will be able to buy is cupcakes, cookies, bread, savories and Saturday Specials. Some items, like pastry, will only be available one Saturday a month, or for large catering orders. Many cookies at the window will come pre-packaged in larger quantities.

Deadlines:

Deliveries are Thursday – Sat. But, if you want a delivery on Weds, please email us so we can ask the driver.

General notes: If you are trying to call us and we don’t answer, send a text if it’s during regular business hours. For DELIVERY just chose pick up and make sure you’ve added Delivery City to your cart and put name, address, cell phone in Special Instruction box.) For all orders, you will get a  TEXT confirmation immediately after placing your order. If you do not receive a text with your order number you order did not go through.    Order here
