Just a quick reminder that we close today at 3:00 PM.

If you’re planning to pick up a preorder after 3:00 PM, please call or text the bakery so we can make arrangements.

We’ll be closed for our annual summer vacation and will reopen Tuesday, July 14 at 11:00 AM.

A Quick Note

Prices have continued to climb dramatically.

For many of our ingredients and consumable supplies, we’re now paying about 40% more than we were just last fall. As one example, a 50-pound bag of our flour has increased from about $85 delivered to $140 delivered—and it’s a domestic product.

Despite these increases, we have not raised our prices. We know many families are tightening their belts, just as we are.

Several customers have suggested that we add a voluntary donation button to our website for those who are fortunate enough not to be feeling the effects of the current economy and would simply like to help support the bakery. We’ll be adding that over our holiday break.

There is absolutely no expectation—it’s entirely voluntary—but we are deeply grateful to those who have already helped in this way.

Markets

We will not be at the Copley Farmers Market this week or next while we’re on vacation.

We’ll return to Copley on Friday, July 18.

Then, on Saturday, July 25, we’ll begin the Roslindale Farmers Market.

If you’re in the neighborhood, stop by our tent and say hello. We think you’ll be pleased with the selection we’ll be bringing each week.
